Default Mr LT80 - clutch question?

I've got the clutch weights drilled and shaved down to 156 grams on one bike. My other bike, as you know, is a hetrick setup. The weights on it are 160 grams, but not drilled, its all cut off the end angled back under the contact pad. The 156 clutch still engages considerably quicker than the 160 and quicker than I want it to. My question is - do I need to keep shaving weight on my clutch or is there something else I'm missing? I didn't realize that there would be that much difference in taking the weight all from the end. Is there a point where you can go too far and the weights won't fly out at all? Any guesses on how much to take it down to?

When I lower the weight, I cut the end off then drill to weight.
With the stock pipe I weigh them at 150-155 grams. For the Hetrick pipe I weigh them at 135 grams.

LOL, savings??? Whats that??? I raced 4 races and have 1900$ into it, And one is 20 minutes away! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Thanks Jack. Two more questions. How was the 12 hour? I want to do that sometime. & How did the banquet go? I saw somewhere that you were going to talk to them about the Cobra. I lied - 3rd question. Do the kids get somekind of certificate on their finishing position in the TTs? The reason I ask is, I got a certificate for finishing 12th in my class and my boys finished 12th and 16th. I thought surely if they send them to the adults they would certainly send them to the kids.
