LT80 Chain Roller
#1
Well I just got through putting on a new 428 aluminum rear sprocket and steel countersprocket with #40 chain (you can buy 10' of this through Northern Tool for 8.99) and had a ton of slack chain. Some dummy forget to get a couple of half links to compensate so I had to do this mod. Wait a minute that was me. I know a lot of people have been through this. One link too short and it won't fit, one link longer and it's too frekin long. Well my kids had some old skates that I stole a wheel from and did this mod. Okay okay so I copied this from someone else. But it did come out real nice. I just removed one of the bolts in the vicinity of where the roller goes and put a longer one with a couple of nuts behind the roller for offset and it went on like a dream. Fits real snug and rolls great. Zero cost! I'm gonna have a pic of it up when the moderators approve the pic. Happy Trails.

Your LT-80 Chain Roller sounds like a great idea. Another did this customization on their LT-80 before and it turned out great as well. Sorry, I can't remember the person's name. For a picture of their finished results is: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...18303166ALVniR

I will confess this is where I got the idea. I went under the bottom chain where the other went over the top of the bottom. Six 1/2 dozen of the other.
