Default cylinder work question

A local guy that I've had bore ours charges me 10-15 depending on how much he has to take out. (this includes boring and honing) If you can find the piston and have enough sleeve thickness, you can mimic a bigbore kit. I had our LT bore from 50mm to 54.5mm and run a bigbore piston. I believe I can machine a coller to slide over the end of the sleeve to hold it from exspanding, and get at least 1 more bore from our stock sleeve.
