Default Yamoto 150 Airbox question.

Hello, I saw somewhere in this forum that a modification needed to be made to the Yamoto 150 ATV airbox. It was something about shortening the length of the hose going from the aibox to the carburator. Can anyone help me out with this topic? I can't seem to find the original postings on it. Thanks!

From what I remember you shortened the hose by 1/2". If not that sealing flange would slip into the air box and suck dirt. I have also read that some people have had to seal the flange with silicone. I have not had either problem with my wifes quad. I will be switching to a uni filter before it dries up here though.
