Ok I'm working on an 87' Lt50. I see it's basically the same as my son's Lt80 but some minor things.

Can someone tell me where the restrictors are located on this machine? Also if I remove the oil-injection system do I only need to cap off the inlet on the pump? And I saw in a few other posts about removing one of the jets, please explain.

When i do a plug check it's wet and black. And after that I can only get it started by holding it WOT. I figure it's too rich but I don't know what size jets are suppose to be in it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

There is one in the exhaust and one in the intake do a forum search on what i did to my sons bike,

 

Nevermind! I found the problem! Someone had the needle in wrong. And there was quite a bit of water in the system.

Much better now!
