Default Lt80 rear brake

Ok I just installed our +2 swinger and I'm having brake issues.

When you push down on the pedal it doesnt return properly, causing the brakes to hang up. All the springs are on properly including the one on the arm for the rear brake.

Now where the mount for the cable is, on the frame, just behind the pedal, should the cable slide back and forth in that mount? mine does and to me that looks like the problem, but theres no type of adjustment there.

Please help we're suppose to go riding Sat.

Thanks

Dan

I go to ther hardware store and buy a "L" bracket. I then drill 2 holes on the brake lever and put the L bracket on that. I then run a spring from the skidplate to the L bracket.
This returns them great! And for like 5 bucks or less.
What ya figure the +2 length will do?

Hey Lt you got any pics of that setup. I'm not sure exactly where you're putting the "L" on the arm.

Also is the cable suppose to move back and forth in that 1st mounting bracket?

I put the bracket right below the adjustment nut,,on that arm.
Yes the cable does move a lil on that 1st bracket,,...there is no adjustment there (as you noted) but it does move a lil I think
