Moth balls in gas tanks???
#1
Earlier today, I was chatting to another unheated garage engine mechanic. He suggested I could put some moth ***** in my gas containers and small engine gas tanks in order to reduce condensation and thus, help keep water of the gas. Especially for my freezing winter climate.
Is this a good idea???

Been doin it for years for all my cars trucks bikes quads lawn mowers and on & on& on. Old friend of mine that worked up in Dryden Ont. swore by it. I never had a fuel problem in the cold weather ever

I've heard about this many, many years ago at a race track.
I don't even know if they make "nappy" mothballs anymore. I know they don't have them in my neck of the woods anymore. I've looked around and they arn't the right kind.

I would think that the gas fumes would kill any moth that got in there.
