.

If your local dealer/shop is any good, he/she will order you anything that you request. If you have a preference, he/she can order from the name / number that you provide him. If you do this he/she will want to add a financial mark-up. His/her time and paper work to place the order. Some dealers charge "an arm". If they install the pipe, the labor will cost you "a leg". In the end, he/she could end up charging you "an arm & leg".

If you let the dealer decide on the pipe, he/she may NOT get you a good pipe. Some dealers slap in a "loud pipe" and let the customer think they are getting a good part. If you want them to order the pipe on your behalf, give them the numbers to order it from. For example, Billy Holt or other Performance Dealers on this forum.

If it was me, I'd order the pipe (clutch kit, air filter, 5 carb jets of different sizes) and wait for the parts to come in. When all the parts are in, then decide if your local dealer/shop should install all these parts. That way, you get to ride your E-Ton while waiting for all the needed performance parts to come in. Note: Only you know if you have "the skills" to install these parts yourself.

Hope this helps...

Best bet would be not to mess around with the dealer. Get one from WRH racing or Hetricks and get the trans. parts you'll need to go with it and the jets for your carb. Or better yet call either of them and tell them what you intend to be using the quad for and they will tell you what you need.
