Notagain... training has been discussed many times. The CPSC is administering the manufacturer's programs. Some states have their own. Honda has several riding centers available around the country too. Many riding clubs have a trainer on their rolls. You need to check it out and learn what the locals say. As for stopping someone on the trail and telling htem they need a helmet. That is toughie. I carry a few spares that the club I ride with has given me and offer a free helmet. Some people will turn me down... some take it gladly. Either way, the point was made. It is all in how you make the offer.

Dragginbutt and everybody,
Now for a test. After waiting one week for my bf650 to show up I finally got it here at home (see posts under the KAWI thread). My son and I are leaving early am to go ride up north. When I get back Iwill check out the local clubs etc and see where I can get involded.

will I need a certain amount of seat time?
How do I start the process of being someone who can "help"
How does one become .. certified...

Any contacts or info you all may have will be greatly appreciated. when I return on Sunday eve I will check in and give/get an update. thank you thank you thank you.......

Hmmmm.. you seem to have a lot of excuses on why you DON"T want to take a rider's course... I wonder how many hours you spent searching all those parts for your banshee and installing htem... Let's face it, you are a kid riding a crotch rocket ATV, looking for a quick thrill.. and even if someone offers to give you the course free..you refuse it because you know all there is to know about quads and twisting the throttle, right..

...well YEEH HAH!

I question your motives, and your resolve young man.

Franky, it is riders that fit this "MOLD" that are the root of the problems... Loud pipes, riding a machine that has to be ridden hard and fast... tearing it up without any regard to the physical environment, not to mention that little old lady in the nearby house that picks up the phone and complains to the local sherrif to do something about it. You might just as well sell the beast now, because with that one phone call, and that one 30 second thrill, you have killed a lot of good will we are trying to put forth.. and you will loose your ability to ride. YES, YOU ARE THE ONE AT FAULT, only the punishment is doled out on all of us.

Franky, I don't think we need you around... I suspect we will be reading about it as an accident statistic somewhere in the near future unless you wise up to what your antics are actually doing.
