For the Loctire, there are several kinds, depending on the application:
Loctite 291 - Green, very thin -- no need to remove nut or bolt. The green seeps in and seals the thread. You can remove the green with a breaker bar if you have to.
Loctite 222 - purple, thick -- used for miniature screws. No need on a quad.
Loctite 242 - Blue - thick, serviceable -- you have to remove the nut or bolt, and drip the loctite onto the thread. They also have this in stick form now. That is what I use, and its great. Expensive as all heck for my boss though.
Loctite 277 - Red, thick -- permanent. Do not use, unless you have a torch to heat up the screw to 350 degrees to get it off.
You can get cheap alternatives at Wal-mart and auto stores. Look for the blue color, that is your best choice.

fireride I haven't done any mechanical mods yet, but it depends on what kind of rider your daughter is. My sons are complete novices, therefore plenty power for them to get started. These 110s can pull my 200+ butt up and down the street with no problems, not like my Kawasaki, but we're talking a serious cc difference. In all fairness even though I own the 110s I think I like the 150 more, better brakes, little more power and fully auto. I think I'll be getting one for my wife, either the Kazuma or Yamota (virtually the same).

I was going to buy the Kazuma 150, but according to raceway they are not available in California. Even if they were it would be a red sticker. I can't make myself buy one that is limited to when it can be ridden. I have ridden both the 110 and the 150 under the name Toro, same bike as Kazuma, no comparison whice one I would own. The 150 hands down, good brakes lots of power, I wish I could buy one it would be perfect.
