Anyone checked these out yet? I am not finding anything while searching for info on these here. Looks pretty cool. I am in the market for a 80-90 cc with the utility racks for my daughter. So far I have come up with the Grizzly 80 and the Polaris Sportsman 90. I like the reverse on the Sporstman, but think the Yamaha is the better bike. Any comments?
Thanks!

The Yamaha is a good bike. Probably one of the most reliable machines out there. It is NOT a racer!! It makes most of its power fairly low in the rpm range. We had a completely stock 94 and it would pull my 220lb butt up any hill I was stupid enough to try. I cannot say the same for our LT. It would slip the belt or just not engage the clutches enough to pull me up the hills. The most overlooked thing about the Yamaha is once your at the top of the hill, coming down is SOOOO much controlable than with an auto mini. In our hills and hollers that was a MAJOR concern of mine when starting my sons out. The Yamie has engine braking to go along with the actual brakes. The Grizzly looks good but only has a small rack on the rear. Might be able to strap a 6 pack of pop to it but that would be about it. Other than the plastic, its the same quad as the Badger, Raptor80 and moto4's.

they are exactly the same as the Rap 80, different plastic and a rear rack. I have a rear rack i bought for our rap80. so if you want to save several $$$, get a USED Rap80 and add a rear rack to it.
the Eton's apparently don't handle mid to deep water very well. If you're racing, I'd agree the Yam80 isn't the machine and the LT80 has way more potential for race. I completely ditto asfasasu's reply. I'm really surprised to see/hear LT80 trash the Yam80 that way. we've never had those kinds of problems with ours and I had the Moto80 4-spd, and currently have the Rap80. I've had an LT50 and an LT80. I did nothing but work on them non-stop. In fairness, i knew the LT80 was a project when i got it, i just wish i would have had better luck and had something go right instead of wrong. For a '93 it sure wasn't as reliable as the '87 Moto80 we had. (just everything, like starter, both front brake cables, carb, pipe, engine, clutch rollers, etc....).Yes, it was poorly maintained...BUT.. the yamaha wasn't maintained much better... but by the very design, it doesn't need near as much maintenance as the rest. AND i really agree with the downhill issues asfasasu mentioned. watching the kids skid sideways from over-rear braking on downhill vs. gearing down on the semi-auto tranny is night and day difference.
