Default lt80 rollers quick question

Tried drilling my rollers for my lt80 drill bit kept getting stuck and wound up heating up the metal bushing and came wright out of plastic. Is there a better way to drill these do I need a drill press. The lt80 rollers came with a 3/8 whole from the factoryand the whole I was told to make is 5/16 soI think this is why my drill bit is biding.Any suggestion would be appriated. Thanks Bill

You dont drill the rollers in the plastic. You push the metal out and drill. If you do not have a lathe to drill them in, you will prolly egg shape the holes.
So your drilling a big hole with a small bit and it's binding up eh?? LOL ,, I'm sure you got the sizes backwards.
FYI: 4 stock rollers equall 6 drilled to 3/8.
