Default LT80 Oil block off line, how to remove?

Hello, Can anyone tell me how to remove the line going from the oil pump to the carb? I had Jack do my motor and I no longer use the oil injection. I want to completly remove the pump and the line. Do you know what to do about the hole in the carb where the line comes out of once I do remove the line??? I looked at the specs and they call it a clip but I cant figure out how to remove the line without fugging somthing up. Thanks for your help eveyone!

When I done that to our LT Jack had sujessted to just cut the line and plug it with a tooth pick. I cut ours about an 1 1/2" from the carb and used a twisted shank brad to plug it. Or, You might try using a vacume line plug on the carb.

ALike mentioned, a rubber vaccum plug from the auto parts store works well.
The oil res. can surely be removed.

I also take the pump and the drive gear out. I cover the hole with some Permatex and a quarter. Works great. Draws alot of questions from onlookers. lol

What ratio are you mixing the oil into the gas after this mod?
What oil are you using?
Please hook me up with a link with info on how to do this.

Thanks

I use klotz R-50 in Jacks motor at 32 to 1 ratios. Jack also likes torco gp-7 . What is it you are looking to do?

I want to get rid of that oil injector. I figure the only way I will know it's not working is when the engine seizes.

Check your oil levels in the reservoir. If its not getting any lower then its not working

By the time you notice the oil level not going down, the engine would have been siezed up already.
