Myself and 2 other great fellas rode a Kymco 250 in the "12 hours of ATV America". And made it!
The chain broke in the first 1/2 mile (they fixed that problem I hear), other than that, I broke a tie rod end in a big hole with giant rock in it. I feel my 250R would have broke if it was hit that hard.
I was really impressed with the Kymco.
In 1993 I paid 3000+ for a LT230 Suzuki for my wife. The same price 12 years later for a comparable quad seems cheap considering the LT230 was going till last year.
Kymco=Fine quads in my book.

LOL.
I'm the stout one on the right.
Years ago, I'd take the LT230 (quadrunner, not the quadsport) on woods rides when I wasn't interested in going fast. I still had stock shocks on my 250R then and the LT rode much softer.
The Kymco 250 is a modern and better quad than the old LT230 IMO. I could not believe how well it took me up the hills.Stick your thumb in it and let it do the rest. Awsome!
I'd ride one to the moon.
