As a suggestion.... Change the Spark Plug. In my old days, I had a plug the would NOT fire under compression. But, it had lots of spark outside the engine. Turned out to be a bad batch of plugs at the factory.
Is it a 2 or 4 stroke??? That might help us a little more.
Are you using NEW / Fresh gas? Gas starts to go bad after 25+ days. With an old Windex squirter "type" bottle, try squirting a little gas in the carb as you turn it over. I know you stated its getting gas but sometimes, this helps. Especially if there's an air lock in the gasflow parts.
Hope this helps...

Hey Spike99....thanks for the reply! Its got new gas......tried the "spray into the carb"while cranking......I have 4 new plugs(NGK) that all fire good while being grounded, but if they wont fire under compression I don't know. When I pull the plug and crank it over, alot of fuel mist comes out.
I just don't know.

Found a previous post of an AC 90 4 stroke. For details, surf:

If you have an AC 90 4 stroke with factory carb and "it is the carb", I wonder if it's time to replace this stock carb with a 20mm / 24mm (depending on its other mods) carb??? If it is a bad batch of stock carbs, it might be worth it in the long run????

In your previous post, you mentioned that its engine has good compression. Do you have a PSI meter? If so, can you check with this tool? Average stock 2 stroke compression should be aroung 120PSI. Upgraded engine is 120+. There's one guy on this forum who had one heck of a time trying to get his mini to start and stay running. Turned out his compression was at 65PSI. Yes, 65SPI. If wondering, anything under 80 PSI is immediate "top end" rebuild. 100 to 80 is "start buying the parts" NOW. Funny thing is, his mini felt like it had good compression. Thanks for testing this area.

Not sure how much this thing had when it was new, but mine tested at 90lbs. Even after pulling the plug and throwing a bit of 2-stroke in the case, I did another comp.test and it showed 90lbs. Maybe its not enough.

2002 2 stroke with lots of miles. Definately check engine PSI with a meter tool. Original top ends start to dramatically wear down at the "on average" 3-5 year mark.
The PSI Guage tool I use looks like:

Hope this helps as well....

90 should be enough to make it start & run. But you won't have max performance output. For now, let's assume 90 PSI is ok.
Silly questions, but I do have to ask.
- Is the Air filter box on while trying to start it?
- Is the pipe on while trying to start it?
- Was there any changes since the last time it ran ok?
Do you know when the last engine pressure test was performed?

The atv stalled out. My son said it ran out of gas---but it didn't. Pipe is still on atv, but it does breath well. Air cleaner is not an issue, i have the boot off at the carb for easy working. The gas runs nicely through the fuel line when I turn the gas on.
