Cool, I'll send you the pics in just a couple of hours. Check out www.yamahaoftroy.com they have a micro fishe of the lt80 w/ part numbers! I think trinity sells a block off plate. For now when you remove the clutch cover you will see a little gear that attaches to the front drive. Just pull that gear off and I cut the line in half and we used a tooth pick to plug off and reconnect the line. I would of got the block off plate but I dont know what to do with the line coming from the carb. I dont know if it unscrews or what. If you come up with somthing let me know. I'll send the pics soon.

man i got all kinda questions lol,do they sell a ftermarket pull starter for the lt80? looks like a spot on the cover where a pull starter would go.
im sure its the same on the lt as my blaster but on the blaster all i did was cut the oil line to the carb off and covered the nipple with a automotive carb cap for vent hoses

Nice! I'll try that for the carb. As a matter of fact I just installed a pull starter 3-days ago. It was 95.00 part number in on the www.yamahaoftroy.com or you can look on ebay and yep it just bolts right into the clutch cover. 4-bolts. I'll include that in the pics too.

where abouts are you? i have a FULL FACTORY Lt80 repair/service manual. each page is set in plastic sheet, so when you get it greasy, you can just wipe it off. it's set in a 3-ring binder. depending where you are, i'd sell it for $30+ shipping (About $5 by mail?).

Would have been fun to hook up with ya on your way through for a couple hour or even a day ride.

I had my son out today on it for his first real ride and the bike ran awesome for about 2 hours then fouled the plug i didnt have a extra one so we hadda call it a day.
on some small inclines without a running start the bike just wouldnt go i guess it needs the clutch ,belt and rollers serviced.
