Any thoughts on the SFX 110
Hello again. I didnt see any comments on the specific "SFX 110" and was wondering if anyone had one they were or were not happy with. I read it is 5" shorter than the RFX 110, and was wondering if it was noticeably more stable at this lower height. Also wondering if overall quality was ok w/ this machine was comparable to other Kazumas of it's size. Thanks in advance.

This is a re-design of the KMX-110. They re-did the plastics and the seat to give it a more up to date look. Not sure if they changed anything else but the front end assembly and the back axle (drum brakes) still look the same as the KMX-110's.
If anyone else has more info, please post!

Here's at least an accurate picture of one. Most sites I looked at to just see it had innacurate descriptions, and wrong pictures of it, most using the KMX picture for it. Here you can see the size difference between it and the RFX MKIISFX
I ended up ordering one, so I'll post back w/ how it works out. Unfortunatly I dont have anything in it's size to compare it to other than a 50 Kazuma.

Thanks TimN! I was thinking about one for my 8 year old, my 10 and 11 year olds have the RFX-150 mk II. The only thing that had me worried about the double shocks vs the double A-arm/shocks on the 150's. Other than that, I think the KMX-110 was a very reliable ATV.

I am also thinking about buying a Kazuma 110 for my daughter (she's 10, novice to atv). I like the rfx 110 mk2 ( Rear disk brake, double A front suspension) but i am not sure if it is too big for her ( 32 inch seat height). The size of the sfx seems more appropriate but i do not know how good is the front suspension and i prefer the disk brake on the RFX.
Any input greatly appreciated.

I can say the sfx 110 would be ok but you need front wheel spacers and a k&n filter. These are pretty much a must. The front end is narrow and the stock airfilter box is crap. Other than that they hold up pretty well. My son is 7 and he rides a Quazi 110 just like the Yamoto110 and he fits perfect. You can see it in my pics. he also had the Kazuma kfx110. It was a little too tall but he still fit. He rides it every weekend and I have had no problems at all. If your kids are rough on things then dont do it. The Desert cat is a great quad but a little more than the Kazuma. If you order any atv do it through Raceway. Talk to John and he will take care of you.

Thanks for your response 2manytoys,
Nice quads u have there, u surely like the blue color
Is there 2 different rfx 110. Did u have the rfx 110 mkii 2005 ? The mkii is the one that i am interested in(wider, better suspension, disk brake) and i do not know if it is too big(seat height 32 in) for my 10 years old daughter ? Do u still have the rfx? How tall was/is it ?
The desert cat is surely a nice option, but a little more pricey, and raceway is the place to order from; JOhn seems a very helpful guy.

It was not the MKII. It was an 04 and I just sold it because I liked the Quazi better. The MKII would be good. Like I said my7yo rode it for a while and he fit. He is 50"tall. The quad sat tall but his legs did not hang down. He could reach the pegs no problem and still had bent knees. I did not like the origional rfx because of the narrow front end. If she is taller than 50" then she will fit fine.

"She is 55 in , so i guess she will fit fine on the rfx mkII. Unisson desert cat 90is still another option to consider. "
I recommend the Desert Cat 90 from Raceway ATV for a friend. He bought it and received it about week later and his boy loves the machine. It is a very nice. Plus the support he gets from Raceway is top notch.
I would buy the desert cat 90 in a heart beat if my kid was older. He will be 3 on Aug 31. Now he has a meercat 50.
