lt80 wider
As Quadduck said, the James Lucky front end extenders work well. James Lucky
First decide what you are going to do with the quad. Race, trail ride, both, etc.
Then how wide you want to go. I don't think you need to go real wide if you are just going to do trail riding and stuff with it.
I originally replaced the wheel studs with longer bolts and used 3 nuts to space it out.
This gave about 1" on each side and made a huge difference in the stability.
But we race ours so I then decided to go with the Extenders, I like them so far.
If you only want 1" per side, replacing the studs with bolts is ok. Both in front and Rear
If you want 2 - 2.5", you can get stud extenders or some one piece spacers
If you want 3", then get the JL Extenders in front... or new (expensive) A-Arms (not exactly sure how wide these are??)
There are a few things you can do to the back.
Wider Tires/wheels
Durablue axle
wheel spacers - there are stud extenders and there are one piece spacers available.
You can go with wider tires and wheels. Like 18x9.5x8 Turf Tamers with 8x8 wheels or something.
Which is what I did temporarily to start with..... worked well with the front end extenders.......
But I've decided to go with wheel spacers and smaller tires in the rear.
Will get the Durablue axle when I get the money..
This is just my opinion based on all the reading I've done on this forum, and a little trial and error on my part.
Good Luck
