can i use sikolene light gear oil in a lt 80s trans?

2.7 fl is the correct amount right?

 

we use 10 30 syn in ours never had a problem

 

I'm sure you can. I use auto tranny oil. 10-30 or 10-40 is all fine

 

Would it be ok to use that with other 2 stroke 80-90cc engines

 

I would think that It'd work just fine in any model.
Shear strength is the issue here. Some think under extreme MX/jumping that a high shear strength oil makes a difference. I certainly won't argue that point, It's just that I've not had any problem with gears breaking because of the oil used.
