Default need help with son's 90cc scrambler.

Fishslab said I should post her so here it is.

My son rolled his 90 it ran right after that but then he didn't ride it for a few days.when he did start it it would only idle so as we gave it gas it would die.now it won't start at all.It is getting gas and has spark.I am going to follow fishslabs advise and clean out the carb, but if anyone else has any ideas I would appreciate it.
Thankyou, dcoons

.

Drain the gas tank and replace the gas filter as well. Many people run their 90s with the gas valve in the "ON" postion. When it rolled, all the crud in the bottom of the gas tank might have "lifted" and floated with the rest of the gas. Thus, allowing lots of crud / junk to get sucked into the gas filter and carb.

This might helps as well...

dcoons,

If the Pred-90 hit really hard, its float level may have been accidentally adjusted. It's rare for a hard bump to change the float level (re: bend its inner tab) but it is possible.

Hope this idea helps as well....
