Default Eton vs. Unison vs. Extreme

I think I have finally decided on going with the E-Ton 70, Unison 50 or Extreme 70. Anyone out there with these models? Specifically anyone provide any comparison of these models? The only questions I do have is, is the reverse with the extra money? Also, is it worth buying a 90 with speed governor control so I do not have to buy another quad for quite some time? My son is 7 and this will be his first ATV.

Thanks!

Chris

I would buy the eton 90r hands down.

reverse is nice to save your back from having to always get the kids unstuck.

the 90 power is nice as the kids grow bigger.

And the 90 does have the speed control to keep things tame until they are ready.

I don't know anything about the unison or extreme sorry.

A lot of dealers now sell the e-ton and I would HIGHLY recommend a 2 year warranty.

Eton is a good bike and so is the Extreme and unison I would also look at the kasea and predator 90 as some dealers will sell them for about the same$ as the others very close to the same bikes. Dealer/parts availability would play a big factor in my decision as well as the price of the bike. since the size of the bikes are about the same when comparing the 70 and 90cc bikes then yes you could easily just turn down the bike for a beginner and not have to replace it as soon. I've seen the 90cc bikes sell for around $1700-$1900 here in the midwest I'm sure others have gotten them for less. Good luck Whatever brand, your boy will love it I'm sure. Be safe FastD

i bought my son the eton 70 we use it for in the dunes and at the race track. for the dunes i would like to have the extra power of the 90 for just riding and at the mx track the 70 is perfect for a six year old first place in the oakwood series 50-70 stock class. first place worcs in payette first place at nw quad nationals

about the reverse think about how much your son would use it i think its better to use your head and not get in anywhere u would need reverse. with out reverse my son had to learn that i am not there to help him everytime he did something stupid

i found the best price in washington to be at moses lake power sports or in oregon at roseburg cycle good luck and feel free to email me if want to talk more

We bought our son a used LT80 a couple of years ago, no reverse after the 3rd or 4th time it was in the shop we bought a new Eton 90 with reverse. We have had no problems with the Eton other than the ingnition switch going bad and the sprark arrestor getting plugged both of which (with the help of this forum) were easy basement fixes The reverse is a huge plus for trail riding.

Good luck

2 year warranty on ETon's? I'm sorry but where did someone get one with that? ETON doesn't offer an extended warranty.

Could be the aftermarket style of warranty.
All of the Units you are looking at run great and last real good . Eton America, and Xtreme Motor Company (from Arkansas) have a very strong support staff and fully stocked parts departments. Unison is a new up and coming entry with a very good product also.
