Default Hey mywifesquad filter question yamoto 150

I bought two Komoto 150's. I also bought two UNI filters I got the same size that you listed (1 1/2"X4")only mine is angled. Will this filter fit directly onto the carb? or will I need to run a hose off of the carb and get a short peice of pipe for the filter?. any way I would like a photo of your mod. please.
Another thing I am thinking about is getting a radiator hose and some PVC fittings and routing it to the compartment in the nose fo the bike this looks like a great place for a filter I guess the 110 uses this location and its just too much for them to plumb it for the 150. If I do this mod with the unifilter will I need to re-jet ? if so, which size do you suggest?
Thanks
Hacksaw

Welcome to the forum hacksaw830, I used the stock hose that went to the airbox and cut off the flange part. Then you can get a piece of pvc pipe and 2 hose clamps to connect the filter to the stock rubber hose. I dont have any pics of the air filter mod yet. I have not changed any of the jets after the mod, and I have a different muffler too.
