thanks LTZevil400 for seeing that this guy just wants to ride me for some reason I did modify the thread after the head was milled every time I do something else i change the thread so people can get all the mods at one glance. when i joined it took me alot of research for all that stuff i just wanted easy for another parent to find that info so they to can build a race ready lt 50 if your a racer you know ther rare to see screaming on the track. Preatty soon when his full works suspension comes in next week, Ill have to modify it again.

Were always up for any race think were just a tad bit to far away to acc. that. By the way what were you planning on racing against him that eton 40 or that vintage 50. Well i wish hthe best of luck for your boys hope the win hundreds of trophys, but as for you hope you learn a little better comunication skills cause you started a big ordeal over nothing, what was your problem with me why would I come on here telling a big lie. When i joined this forum months ago I respected your little 50 I took some advise from you even but know I lost all respect for your info And I dont think im the only one who noticed that you act like the kids we build these things for.

 

A race would be cool. We are going back that direction in february-march timeframe to visit friends in Virgina. We can arrange prior to that time a date for the youngsters to run each other. The machine he rides depends on the track. I've already stated that you got me on the time of post edit. I first read the post after you made the edit. I really don't care how much funny plastic my sons bring home. We race because we enjoy it. I'm not one of these dads that live a dream through my child. That is not right, and I don't do it. I just tried to bore my sons lt 50 80 thousands over an using the new wiseco piston an with my 75 main jet I dont think it was getting enough fuel it lasted about 35 min then it blew up has anyone tried this if so what jet are you using.

 

you guys crack me up ..saying my kid is faster than your kid. i would love to see an all lt50 race somewhere. my 4 yr old is pretty fast on his too. as far as boring the thing .80 over make sure you use the wiseco or cometic gaskets. stock head gaskets are only good to .20 over. you said you blew it up?? did you just blow a head gasket? i went through the same thing. ran about a half hour and got hot, blew a head gasket, warped the head and finnaly stuck the piston. now i know why.if your useing 93 octane gas thats not near high enough. you need to run vp or cam 2. i run supreme that is 114 pump octane. im in the process of trying a new motor that is only .020 over with a 19mm carb and a modified wiseco piston. my son races against cobras and a drx he cant even stay on the same lap as the cobras but he can run with the stock lt80sand viper 70.

 

hello every one havent been on for quite some time had to retire the lt 50 for a 07 DRX 50.
nick finished 11th overal in the (4-8)at age 4 in district 5. Then he finished 6th overal at age 5 but we had a hard time running with the 06 drx's so we ordered a 07 to start this year he raced one race this year at greene co. he took 3rd they changed are class to fully mod. he got the holeshot and spun out in the last turn on the first lap went to last then got back to third its going to be a long season. all the other quds there had engine mods we havent touched the motar yet it has plenty of power he's the list of mods we did to it.
