I have motor and clutch mods by Jack (LT80) and he changed the rear spring. I don't know if his new spring has a different tension or not (you should ask him) but it pulled hard right off the line, in fact it would wheelie off the line on our lawn. I'm not sure if the new spring helped or not since I didn't compare the difference. However, I decided it was time to change the drive belt since it seemed a little worn. That new belt made it slow off the line. It would take about 2-3 seconds to ramp up and then engage hard. I measured the difference and it was about 2mm wider then my old belt. Went back to the old belt and bam off the line again. Too bad nobody sells a narrow race belt for the LT80.
