How does anyone feel about the Suzuki z50? I had kinda liked the idea of a shaft drive, but is there alot of problems with chain drives?

 

Same thing as the Kawasaki.

 

Since she is so young you may want to go with a cheap quad from China then if she does,nt like it you won,t be out alot of money. Between the three you mentioned I would stay away from the Yamaha I had 2 of them and took them back after 1 week. If you go with the Kawi/Suzuki at least done the line you can do some mod,s. Remember all 50cc quad,s are only allowed to go 15mph most only do 12mph. Right now at her age that is fine, but as she get,s older and can ride better she will want more. Yamaha want,s $2200 plus set up fee,s just to go 12mph with no mods avaliable.

 

I agree about the Yamaha.... seems very a little high in price. The Suzuki z50 and Polaris 50 seem to be the better priced. Actually the 2005 Polaris 50 price is $1799 minus $150 if we go with the 2005 and includes a free youth helmet, but the thing that I would like to ask is would a 4 stroke be better??? because the Suzuki is a 4 stroke. She fit on both of these quads very well.

 

ok yes my sons raptor 50 was slow out of box good nice and safe the second he said dad i want more power .off i went to raptor80racing.com heres the run down jet the carb cut the slide valve so it will open all the way put some nice shocks on off set wheels and tires widing kit cid box header pipe now this little slow junk pot keeps up with 660 raptors in second gear high oh yeah we took out 8 of the 12 roller ***** in the tranny ripps dirt in your eye every time now the problem with the other brands if you tried to have of what i did you wont find the stuff to do it with plus it wont last as long yamaha hase a very good starting point with there rapotrs all sizes p.s we get all kinds of qustions at the places we ride in northern california from all kinds of quad owners like were did you get the parts and what did you do to make that thing scream plus at the time i bought the cheaper cdi box next we get the cdi box that delivers varible valve timing in it plus a 4 speed tranny oh boy fast for a 50 for sure p.s ever hear a 4 stroke sound like a 2 stroke do what i did and tell the kid to go full throtle
