komoto hop ups
I recently purchased a Komoto 200 for my daughter. When I rode the bike I noticed that the unit is very top heavy and wants to flip over easy in a turn. I decided to make a set of wheel spacers to expand the width of the ATV to about 41 inches. I am in the process of finishing the spacers and will let you know how it turns out.
Also, Depending on how heavy the rider is the chain will drag on the rear swing arm piviot. I purchased a couple of chain rollers from a local cycle shop for $15 each. One roller is placed to hold the chain up and out of the lower chain guard ( because it makes a lot noise when it drags in the guard). The second roller I installed to hold the chain up off of the rear swing arm piviot. It looKs like a Yamaha Banshee setup. The top roller required that I weld a piece of 1/4' steel to hold the roller. There may be a clamp on setup out there somewhere. I may offer a clamp on roller if there is a demand for one. If you send me your email address I will send a picture of the roller locations to you.
