Jackel 250R problims
#1
I dunno why but sometimes i have bad luck with this thing....i tried to start it today caus ei wanted to ride it in the snow but it won't start....i am serously hoping it is just the battery or it is just to cold to run it and not the starter itself cause i had it replaced once befor....if i keep having bad luck with it i may see if i can trade it for a Artic Cat 650.....but does anyone know what the problime with my ATV might be ??

Well, does it sound like it wants to turn over? You could always stick the battery on a charger till the charger says it has a full charge. If you've been storing it in the garage when its cold out, you might want to put a space heater near the motor for a while.

I have tried on numerous attempts to contact Jackel for parts. The website is still up but, you cannot order parts or browse. The phone number has been disconnected etc. They went **** up as far as i can tell which bring me to my current dilema. I am in need of a right rear brake drum, it is stripped out apparently and now I only have one wheel drive. Reminds me of my old 96 F150 it gets stuck in wet grass , loose gravel , mud etc.
I have own several Chinese made ATV's they all are pretty much the same , you have to work on them everytime you want to ride. I will say the Eagle 110 ATV I bought for my daughter was the best out of the bunch. Eventually though it started having problems as well such as: dead battery right from the word go, starter solenoid , bearings, and fouling out numerous spark plugs.
My advice save yourself the headaches buy a Honda!
