Default kazuma falcon 110 cc tire chains

santa really came through for the kids with a falcon atv. riding was great this morning while the snow was hard, but as the snow turned mushy, lots of wheel-spinning was going on. and of course the kids want to bring the machine ice fishing, so chains seem a must.

i've looked around for tire chains, but can't seem to find any that fit the falcon (tire size 19x9.5x8). anyone know who's got the goods???

Tractor Supply has tire chains and also ebay. They are about $50. I used them on my kids kazuma and still on the Yamoto. They work great. There would not be a place they cant go with the chains on.

P.S.

Did you change the oil before they rode it?

2many,

oil was changed once all bolts/nuts were reinstalled with locktite and, as another suggested, i let it run for 45 mins before loading it on the truck and bringing it home.

well, i couldn't find tire chains that fit and one of our local atv dealers suggested using screws. it sounded like a GREAT idea at the time and i installed about 50 on each of the rear tires and the falcon crossed ice and hard snow like a champ.

of course, it turns out that the screws i used were just a tad too long and i now have two flat tires with 50 little leaks each!!!!!! i've twice used the 'flat fixer in a can' stuff, which works for about a week until the tires get spun going over obsticles, reopening the 100 leaks. if i use anymore, i'm afraid the tires will simply be great big glue donuts covered with rubber. new tires are on the way.

moral of the story - if you're gonna use screws, make sure they are SHORT!!!! in hindsight, i looked for the cheap way out and wish i had simply purchased new, larger tires for the machine (front and back) and a set of chains.
