Default Sunl 90 Carb help,

Hi, I just picked up a Sunl 90 cc Atv and the Carb dosnt seem to be set right. Bogs down and will not take a load in gear. I tried adjusting the 2 screws on the side and its more out of wack. Does anyone know how many turns out either screw comes from factory so I can have a start point and go from there. Also we are up north and its about 30 degrees today it that means anything.

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Default Sunl 90 Carb help,

Hey Bwave...We purchased my nephew a SunL 50 for Xmas. I too needed to adjust the carb to get it to run correctly. I contacted John @ RaceWay ATV (who is very helpful!!) and he advised the following for the air fuel mixture screw:

Location ~ Left side of carb, the screw to the left of the idle screw (idle screw is the one with the spring on it) Now on the 50, I needed to back out the bolt on the intake manifold in order to adjust the a/f screw accurately.

Procedure ~ Screw in the mixture screw all the way. Then back it out 2 complete turns. This is said to be the correct setting. I was still getting a little bog. I continued to adjust the a/f screw until it was idleing and revving correctly. Make sure when you are adjusting this screw (this is after two full turns out) that you do it in small increments. My current setting is about 1 3/4 turns backed out maybe a bit more. Running great now.

If you purchased it from RaceWay and continue to have problems, get in contact with them. They will fix you right up. Awesome place and great customer service.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
