CC equal to what in HP?
You're comparing apples to oranges. CC's (cubic centimeters) is a measurement of volume. there are 16.387 cc's per cubic inch. There are 231 cubic inches to the gallon. HP (horsepower) is a measurement of work potential. 1 hp will lift 550 lbs. 1ft. in 1 sec.. 1hp = 746 watts or 42.44 BTU's per minute. Now to really answer your question, because different engines have varying degrees of efficency, no cc to hp relation can be established. A 5700cc chevy may make 150 hp in stock form. Pump it up a little and the 5700cc will make 300 hp. Build it to nascar specs and it will be 700 or so. My 15cc R/C helicopter engine is about 3hp. A 3 hp briggs & stratton would probably be around 200 +or- cc's. About as close as I can come to answering your question would be a guess. A mild 100 cc 2 stroke makes about 5-8hp.. A moderate 100, about 12-14 hp. A hot 100, 20+++ hp. I hope this helps.
