The first pargagraph stated that it arrived on time and that his kids liked it okay thats great, then the following SEVEN paragraphs stated all the problems that he had with it. But I guess I just didnt comprehend right. I guess neither did Bill2099 that said, "Drue After reading your post I'm GLAD that I DIDNT BUY a kazuma. Then there was sweetypie that said that she has had nothing but problems with it and it quit working after 8 hrs. she goes on to say that she is disgusted with it. Then theres drue again in another post after his first one that says that he has yet another dilema. THE BRAKES. I know such a small thing. Then theres drue yet again on a update post telling about how it flipped on them. Then in that same update he says "would I buy another kazuma after this one DEFINETLY NOT. This is the best part of the update telling us how "happy his is with it" And he says I definitetly do wish that either kazuma or race way would push some of the issues I have had, Wait this is the best part ESPECIALLY SINCE THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN ARE IN QUESTION. Thanks drue.
I'm not real sure about where drue stands here. I'm thinking hes upset and wants to vent and he does. YET. He still needs the help from the people he bought it from and thats why he throws in there a few good things. Hey I understand.I guess its like they say. You have a $5 head buy a $5 helmet.
Hope theres no hard feelings

I think there are alot of these out there with zero problems. Mine as I stated is not one of those. I also would be willing to bet my home that the majority of the parents that purchased one of these for their kids, probably have not even noticed the problems I have had. First, in order to even notice the steering issue, your child has to be riding in soft material, and they have to be on the throttle.
Overall, I am on the fence with this quad. The reasons being are that for someone like myself, being mechanically sound, as well as having the patience to work through the problems, Im happy with this $800 quad. I spent over $2000 less than alot of parents on my sons first quad. Im very unhappy with the way things have been handled regarding it. I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 calls and emails into Raceway regarding these things. I had alot of trouble getting any kind of help. John has stated over and over that whatever I need, he will get for me. The biggest problem is that there is not anyone that makes what I needed to make this safe. He even offered to take the quad back giving me full credit. At that time, I had alredy cut off the steering stops and built my own, as well as made some other cut/weld modifications to the front end, so I didnt feel as though that would have went through.
I dont think that Kazuma has helped out in any way. I came to Raceway/Kazuma with a MAJOR SAFETY issue, regarding MY ATV, not all of them, just mine. To date, I have not received one part, nor a penny for my troubles. I have not even received an email to say that someone is working on things. Im on my own, and have invested quite a bit of time to make this ATV safe to my standards.
Alot of ranting yes, am I completely unahappy with this ATV, No. Do I think its safe out of the crate, OMG no, not mine at least. But like I said before, I had an extra $2000 to do with what I wished with it. If he hated it, Im not out that much. And I was comfortable that for the price, and the amount of work I was going to invest to make it like I wanted it, It would work just fine.
As of now, the ATV is SAFE. I had to take the baskets OFF and move the rear heel guards for now, to keep his feet out of the rear tires, as well as allow him to use the brakes. The front is now completely safe, with the steering stops and reinforcements I built. I have a guy that Im working with to build some aluminum nerf bars. Hopefully after the first, there will be some more if anyone is interested in a pair. Also to come with that, will be a reworked brake pedal that brings the height down and is geared towards offroading, instead of cruising on a Harley. The newest shocks should be here shortly and I will be testing those again, hopefully this time they will be perfect. I have to order quite a few if anyone is interested in some. Should be a MAJOR improvement.
On a side note, the first time I told Raceway that my rear axle had a big bend in it was on January 3,2006. Ive mentioned it about 6 times since then and still have the same one.
Thanks for listening to my vent, next post will be more useful information especially with the new mods.
Thanks,
Corey

Watzupdog,You just irked me a little by bashing me for trying to get as many non-biased opinions as possible so I can make a well informed purchase.Let me ask you this, don't you see that any and all quads have there quirks. If I was to make a desicion based on what I have experienced from the quads I've owned,I would be posting that Honda stinks and Kazuma is the way to go.Secondly,Do you own any kazuma products? If so,why not spend your time informing members on the pros'/cons(like DRue does so generously),if not,how do you base you desicion? I have a feeling you are the type that likes to jump in on threads and see how many people you can make mad at you. Then you say"no hard feelings",I have no hard feelings because that would imply that I valued you opinion in the first place. Drue, thanks for informed post again,it's people like you who take the time to help out others and make these forums the place to turn to for great non-biased opinions..

Drew,
Keep me informed when you have the nerf bars ready and foot pegs, I might be interested.
My sons 90 mini falcon out of the crate and with the wheels on really looks very nice especially for the price. It's wider then the 50 and 70's which I really like a lot. He and my ten year old rode it all weekend and had a blast on it out in the desert hills. My ten year old had it fish tailing around turns and let me tell you that little quad was spitting dirt everywhere. It's not tippy for the kids and is even pretty stable with me on it. It does take a little to warm up and until it is fully warm it hesitates on the throttle but once warm it's very responsive and very quick. Planning on putting a Uni filter on it and still have to go through the bikes this weekend.
Jetmoto 150cc just arrived and got it 90 percent assembled, just have some lights and little things like that to finish up on. Delivery was very trackable and even though the first quad had gotten lost in shipping the reshippment only took four days to get here from Monday to Wednsday arrival, not bad. The headlight connector that plugs into the switch is totally busted probably got stuck under something. I fired it up and although it took a little bit to start with the kick start it started right up after about 2 minutes of kick starting. idled for about 20 minutes and then took it for a quick spin on the lawn. WOW this quad not only has the quiet grunting exhaust but it's pretty quick too. So far I'm impressed with both quads especially for the money, under 1900 dollars for the 90 and the 150 quads delivered. I have a lot of work to do before I let my kids go on these two quads even though I let them out this last weekend for a bit on the 90. More to come once I get everything all sealed up and up to specs on everything top to bottom.

Drew,
I really like the quad and have not seen the front wheels lock up at any point but I was in the desert more hard desert terrain than soft sand so I will keep an eye on that. I noticed that the front steering stops dont seem to be very strong so I plan on making some mods to it this weekend along with all the other things to do on these two quads, I can't wait to dig in! I will pick up some NGK plugs tommorrow for both quads, I have also heard that by putting in 6 vice 7 NGK plugs it's a little bit more juice, have you heard this?
