Default Great Dealer in Elmira, NY - Al Grantier

I got a Meerkat 50 for my 4 1/2 year old for Christmas-(word of caution-4 1/2 is too young for most. He only rides in the dooryard under direct (me standing there) supervision, he's mindful, but still it's a lot of stuff going on)

Anyway, got a great deal from Al Grantier at Viper Motor Sports-He was great start to finish. Based on what I've read, I am going to order an intake from him and have it on hand. If it never gets used, fine. If its needed, I'll have it.

So far there have been no issues- bolt the wheels on, gas it up and go! The rear shock is sprung waaaaay to tight. I'm 175 and can't budge it unless I take a leap - off the ground - onto it.

I love that I can get an ATV for $549 delivered to my door-I don't care who makes it or where it comes from. God Bless China if this is what we have to look forward to. I don't know how they do it.

Noah's happy , I'm happy, and I've got my fingers crossed for years of service from this li'l pup.

Thanks again Al, I'll be back in a couple years or so for my next boys set of wheels.

Mogulligan,

You NEED to change the oil in it. DO NOT run it much longer with the factory oil in it or you will risk damage to the motor. Periodicly check ALL major nuts and bolts. Yes these are great little atv's for the money. Just keep up on the maintenance and it will last a long time.

Yep, did that. I asked Al if there was anything I needed to know and there were three things:

1) Change the oil after 2-3 hours.
2)Adjust the mixture per the manual
3)Go to this forum and see what others have said

One I picked up from the forum-seal up the electrical connections & switches.
