Why would you say that???I took a chance and bought a atv to help cut some of my work.I couldnt afford a cashy one.I came to the board to learn, and I did.I didnt know and still know little about any brand, make or what ever.I have NO TIES to sunL other than I bought a cheap 110 and wanted to voice MO about it.Eeryone keeps saying the dealer is important and I agree it is.So I was posting that I have also had great support from the guy I got my atv from.
Sorry I dont know what the heck this means"trying to do damage control, sunl's a POS and they know it "
Please explain it??????????

I have been using Sun L ATVs for 2 years now and love them. I have 70s,90s,and for the money, these are some very good starter ATVs for kids with many nice safety features and very few problems. Parts are very easy to get thru the dealer too.

I'm one of the people that posted on this thread several months ago regarding how important your dealer was. My SunL was a broken piece of junk from a few days after I bought it - for several months afterward. I needed a small piece for the front suspension, and Scootertown in Dallas wouldn't even think about helping me get it. Stay away from them!!!
Finally this Spring I was able to get the part directly from SunL. Months of persistence and the help of John@Raceway got me in contact with the right person (VP!). The part was shipped, and within 30 minutes of it arriving at my house, it was installed.
Since that time, my kids have worn my SunL 110cc quad OUT! They ride it a lot, and have really enjoyed it. Starts the moment you push the button. I have had a little trouble keeping the chain tight - but that is pretty minor. If that one little piece had not failed, we would have had a perfect buyers experience.
In hindsight, I don't have too many bad things to say about SunL. My gripe was with my dealer. Stay away from a place that will not work with you when trouble arises.

SUNL is well known for selling poorly manufactured products with useless warranties and no after the sale support.

STAY AWAY FROM SUNL PRODUCTS!!! Take it from someone who has been there. I purchased a newer model SunL SLA-110KLB for my 10 year old son based on price in August 2006. The bike never ran right, had all kinds of problems and I felt was very dangerous. Fuel leaked, suspension broke, frame showed signs of wear/cracks/rust, transmission would not shift properly and then after 2 months and only about 10-12 hours of use the motor took a crap - ring problem - air in oil and oil was spitting out the breather tube on the back of the motor. There is no quality control and these quads are a POS!!! BUYER BEWARE...STAY AWAY...IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU SOONER OR LATER IF YOU GET SUCKERED IN BY THE PRICE...
