Need info for Meerkat 50 / 6 yr. old
we have the 50 Kazuma for our son. we havent had any problems with it (knock on wood). I made wheel spacer for it 2.5 inch on each side. Just took 3/8 bolts 3 inchs long and drilled round stock (cheap upgrade).
For the price you cant beat it. I will be my daughters next year when she turns 4.

Great quad for getting the little ones involved int he sport.

what NGK spark plug did you guys buy for this?

Okay...just to let you know, I just purchased the SunL XL 90 from Raceway. They recommended the XL 50 (a bit bigger than the Meerkat) or XL 70 but were sold out of the 50 and wouldn't get them for 2 months. Got the birthday coming up so I couldn't wait. I went with the 90, which was the same measurements from ground to seat and etc. but with more power..obviously...than the 70. Didn't like the looks of the 70 as much. The only thing I am not sure that I like is the fact that it is fully auto. I would have rather had gears but oh, well. ) I hope I made the right choice. They (Raceway) didn't seem to be overly happy to stay on the phone and answer my dumb questions but they weren't rude or anything either. I know they are busy but have to understand that people want to make informed decisions when spending 100's of dollars! I didn't get the warm-fuzzies that I was hoping for. Guess that's just a woman thing. ) Hopefully, I will get good customer service in the future.

I dont know why 2many lumped kidsatv in with wicked rocket and high rpm racer, however. Before I bought, I tried searching for info about the four mentioned companies and many others. Virtually the only two internet chinese atv sellers that I could find what appeared to be unsolicited positive comments on was raceway and kidsatv.com I've found few negatives about either company.

As John of Raceway is a sponsor of this site, so is Jim of kids atv a sponsor of atvrider.com. He has many posts on that site. He also has quite a few posts on this site trying to help people with their chinese quad problems regardless of where they bought their atv, including a good post on valve adjustment for a guy with a poor running kazuma 50.

I've not bought from kidsatv so I cant personally say whether their service after-the-sale is good or not, but it would seem uncharacteristic for it not to be based on what I said above. I would have no problem ordering from them.

Thank you Rodney.... I work very hard for my customers & other dealers customers & would like to NOT be grouped with the other companies that were mentioned above... I like to think John & myself run the same type of quality business & my guess is, if you asked him about us... he would say that!

Spliffy,

I apologize for my mistake. I did not mean to put you in the same catagory as the others. I know John has mentioned your company to me before and for some reason your name was stuck in my head when I was writing to this post. I have never delt with you nor have I ever read anything bad about kidsatv. Again I am very sorry. It is great that there are dealers out there like you and John to make this a good experience for parents and children. I have seen you here before and did not know you were affiliated with kidsatv.com. Now when someone asks about these atv's I will direct them to kidsatv.com and Raceway. I did make a mistake and Im sorry.

Hey not a problem & thanks for the apolgy! It just kinda hurts when you work as hard as we do to make as many customers happy as possible & then you read that you've been grouped with the "not good dealers" in a good atv forum. Its kidatvs.com also hehe.... now hopefully the mods don't see this as advertising, just getting the name right.
