Redcat DPX-200 First Start Problem -- Please Help!
#11
You would be far better starting a new thread, instead of adding to a 14 year old post about something completely different.
Anyway, Solenoid may be faulty, does it click when start button is pressed? If not it could still be solenoid, or start button may be faulty, or a lock-out. If the machine has to have the brake on, or be in neutral, for the starter to work, are these switches working (brake light and/or neutral light)?

Hello thank you for getting back with me so no the front and back lights stopped working so did the start switch when i connect a screw driver to the solenoid and turn the key switch on it has spark and when i turn it off i don't have spark so that means that switch is good i think the start switch went out or something if it went bad would it have anything to do with the light because that same switch had the lights and kill switch could i get your number to give you a call or could you give me a call 5712474726

Battery power and kill switch share the same key operated unit but are two different switches, so the power to lights, start button, etc, switch could be bad. However there should be a fuse somewhere between battery and that switch. Most likely the fuse has gone or that battery power wire loose or broken.

First be very sure it is the switch that is faulty. Done a quick google and there seems to be two different Redcats, a Kazuma circa 125 and a Red Cat Motors range. Powersports recon they have parts but their website sends you round in circles, but this Semo Cycles is your Full Service Red Cat Motors dealer of Missouri seems to be selling a new Redcat DPX-200. Worth trying them for parts.
