Hey, Brian
The insurance question was for Darell since hes from Alberta too. I know all about insurance in B.C originally from Penticton. 1 million liabilty and fire/ theft only $148 a yr here plus license plate $43 a yr. Have to have all that here to ride on crown land. Not like good ol B.C. , throw it in your truck , drive out of the city and ride.
Been driving around with the quads in my truck with forsale signs on them. Lots of people wanting them too. But nobody showing me the cash yet.
I will also keep in touch on how mine are holding up. talk to ya later J.R. P.S keep me posted on the 150, kinda thinking of getting one for myself . My back and knees are killing me after riding the 50 cc for 3 days straight with my son.

CO-OP insurance 145 a year per machine, you have to lie through your teeth and list a"14" year old or older as the driver of note (with learners permit). to use them on public lands. No issue with registry I had 2 on a flat deck the guy from the registry office looked at them, asked me to sit on one, said I looked rediculious but it would be ok for a little kid and registered them, after that all the families whom wanted to use 'em on public land went to the same guy with no issue. I don't ride them except after a tune up or something. I ride a Tecate-3, tri-z when I'm with adults or any number of full size 4 stroke trikes around the place with the kids. I generally don't like quads or the way they handle, but a new gio is 1/2 the price of a restored honda 70 or tri-zinger, and realistically trikes will never make a comeback, so teaching a 5 year old to only ride trikes would be a disservice to them
