Weekend review of the REDCAT VX-80
#1
Ladies and Gentlemen, my 8 year old daughter rode the hell out of this quad last weekend...4 days and night. The pros is that is automatic, it is not top heavy and has plenty of power for her. It performed as advertised and I was impressed with this quad. My daughter loves it and it has enough to tow my at 235
Weak points to this quad is the battery is junk and I needed to kick start it. It does have a back up kick starter and that made it easier. However, the plastic foot area broke when I kicked started it. The whole went right through the plastic. I can live with it...but the battery is still junk. Also, the brakes could be better but will do the job. Tough little quad and so far worth the money! Also for a young kid starting off this is one easy quad to ride...no shifting, just go! SEADAWG
