Can you tell more about the Universal primer? Where to get one? I can't find the post you mentioned.

Thanks

M104,

Here are some sites to check out for what you are looking for, and I'm sure Propertymaint
will have additional information for you.

To check Bystarter:Bystarter

Universal primer: Primer kit

Primer How to:Step 4 Removing Bystarter

Hope this helps, and again I'm sure Propertymaint will have additional info for you.

Good Luck.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the jets. My Dingo got hard to start and warm up, and the simple fix was to remove the jet and drill it out using a .055 drill bit. Cheap and effective. I fixed a friends ATV last weekend that was doing the same thing. Don't spend money on new carbs until you try this. Indexed drill bits are available at Harbor Freight.

Kazooooma,
I just realized this is an old post but anyway. The reason that manual choke carb worked is cause it is a different (new carb). The jets are the problem not the choke just like you said. Cleaning them won't matter if they are too small to begin with.
