Scram 50- oil in exhaust pipe?
I am very new to this forum, and through reading the various posts, I decided to remove the exhaust to check for a restrictor. When I removed the assembly, about 1/4 cup of thin oil drained on the floor from the pipe flange. I assume that is not normal. My sons quad is a stock '01 scrambler 50. Any thoughts as to how I should proceed?
Thank you in advance!

The bike is running alittle rich it sounds like. Is you'r plug black or dark brown? I'd jet it down a jet size or two till you get a good beer bottle brown plug. The fuel will evaporate and leave the oil behind in the pipe. Those oilpumps pump too much oil as well so if you get a single throttle cable and ditch the oil inj and run premix you'll be better off.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was on the fence about removing the oil pump, but I just found out that with the oil pump plug, I don't have to remove the gear behind the flywheel, which eliminates a bunch of work. So, it looks like I have to find a cable!
I will jet differently, but I am ordering a K & N first.
Thank you- Paul
