Default LT80 No Spark

I just rebuilt the bottom end and top end of my daughter's LT80. I replaced the crank and got everything back together. Unfortunately there is now no spark.

I can send you one to try.
You can check the coil and stator with an ohm meter. Sorry, I don't remember the correct specs (ohms).
FYI: you didn't hurt anything by sanding it.

Thank you very much for the offer. I did some further inspection and discovered a nick on the condenser coil that made it through the insulation. It's hard to see if any damage was done, but at this point that's the suspect. I tested for continuity and it passed all the way to the external coil. I didn't register any output. so I think it's narrowed down. I came up with a reading of 64 ohms, but the # is meaningless to me. I ordered a new condenser coil from ron ayers which was only $36. It sure beat $150, but I have to sodder it in. Oh well... I'll be back if it doesn't work. Thanks for the consitant and accurate guidance Jack!

Sincerely,
Mike
