A boy has one of the Typhooons at our local track, they come out of the package ready to race.. With only a $2200 price tag these mini are awesome...
They have 8.5" of suspension travel front and rear. Disc brakes. Come in 70, 90, and a 125...
I am gonna get one of these come January or Febuary for my boy's next Quad...

Geez, I got almost $2000 in my boys Kazuma and it's not anywhere close to the Typhoon. The Typhoon is about the size of Honda's TRX 90, but with way more suspension!

the suspension travel is 7 1/2" of travel and the quad is great. We got one for our 6 year old and did a few mods. Yoshi tri oval, K&N filter with jet kit, Re geared, ( one up on the front sproket), new grips (the stock ones suck), and replaced the CDI box with one off the extreme 90 pit bike, and a heel toe shifter (the up shift can be stiff). the quad flat out flies over the sand dunes now with haulers on the rear and ITP sand stars on the front.

I saw one at the WPSA race in NJ.
It's a lil heavy but seemed to be a fine machine. Especially for 2k!
I have to congradulate Extreme on the shock choice. They actually will work for the kids.
I see so many machines with what I call "parent pleaser" shocks.
The parents say" it's got a suspension" yet it's useless for the kid.
Example:: a lil 50 with a loncin motor had so stiff of shocks, they would not move with all my weight on the front bumper.I saw that yesterday.

Wait till you see one with a built 2 stroke motor. I have the motor but not the typhoon yet.

who is selling the heal toe shifter or is it a one off custom I am looking to get a typhoon 125 for my 6year old son he has been racing for 3 years local tt tracks. I seem to like the 90. a dealer told me to go with the 125 and put a stock 90 head on it so o would get the better trans, and go back to the 125 when ready. my son races a e-ton 40 now but we have run out of thing to do to it. How do yaw think the 125 will do in TT or xtream dirt track racing. dont have any mx tracks close to me. rtoy7 does the stock cdi hold it back and what is yours 90 or 125

It will be very good on a TT track and yes you will get a better transmission and clutch. I have torn this appart to see what it is made off, it has all the things promised.

They make a kit that you could only change the cylinder and piston, but would be better to use a kit so all parts would match. I still have not ridden a 70 or 90 but I bet they run very well also. I love the engine from the 125 it is very well built. I have a 125 chassis that I removed the engine if anyone wants to do a conversion.
