jdr250,

It's good to hear you will be going with the Honda TRX90. Good choice, your whole family will enjoy the quad. The Honda's do have a good resale value, but the way I look at it is, if you own it then why ever sell it. Keep it in the family for future generations to have fun with.

Sorry, I was not able to get the pics posted. I was a little busy this weekend. I went out and bought my daughters new quad. Couldn't pass up a deal I found for a 2007 TRX250EX. If you still want to see the pics of the reverse gear let me know.

Happy riding, be safe.

SB.

I also say the TRX90 is a good choice. I also faced this decision last year when I promised my 8 year old son an atv. After searching this forum and reading about the problems associated with Chinese built atv's, I decided to spend the extra bucks and buy the Honda. The only thing I have done to the machine in a year, other than oil changes, adjust brakes, etc.....is adjust and clean the chain.

I used to weigh 185 and it pulled both him and me, combined weight of 240, around our riding spot with no problems. I have the throttle restriction screw run in to limit top speed to about 20mph now. This atv will last a long time and will be handed down to my grand-daughter in the future when my son graduates up to a larger machine. I sure that will be a TRX250.
