Default Need help, Sun-L 90

I don't know where to start. At the end of last year's riding season my grandson's Sun-L 90 would not start unless we jumped it. I have replaced the old battery with A acid cell battery. Test's as A full charge. Yet we can't get it to turn over or even have the light's come on. We do have A remote hooked to it. And I have read on here that they will drain the battery. But with A new fully charged battery we still can't get anything either by key or remote. Any suggestion's would be of help. With the exception of you shoulden't have bought it. I already know that. KW for christmas for him. Until then I need to get this one running again. Thank's for any help.

Sounds like the starter is bad. This is common. The lights dont come on unless its running. Do you have brake lights? Could also be the main fuse.

Brake light wiring was broken off so they no longer work. You may be right about the fuse. Could you help me out on where I would find this fuse?

Should be connected right to the positive cable of the battery about 4-5 " down. It still may be the starter.

Thank's 2manytoys. I figured I would start with the small stuff first. And then work up. My wife and I checked out your photo page months back. Love your aera of the country. If it wasen't for all the grandkid's being here we would probably move to an aera like that.

I love it here. Nice and quiet without all the city crap. Lots of places to ride. Nice people. Good luck on the quad.

You were wright. Starter and starter switch both bad. Waiting for part's their charging me $200.00 I could have probably ordered the part's through raceway and saved some money. But I've been so busy lately I just went ahead and let them do it.

It was $200.00 because I told them to go ahead and install them. Been to busy to do it myself.
