drx50 in sand

Default drx50 in sand

has anyone tried drx50 in sand?have 19front,35 rear sprockets, 125 jet, 18x9.5-8 tires does not get buried but no speed, will not rev out. had 18x6.5 tires for mx racing bike does excellent for mx tracks but not in sand anyone have advice?

There's not a 50 in the world that's worth a crap in sand.

what carb are running and how heavy are your rollers?

You need to gear it for more low end to make it easier to keep the RPMS up....Roller weight change may help too

The 18" tires actually hurt the RPM range you need, but they probably help with clearance?

I have seen Kenda Gecko sand paddles for 8" rims that looked like they may work


But yeah...sand and a 50cc machine is a little much to ask.....

A smaller front sprocket (18t) may help get the RPMs back up and it easy to change for use in multiple riding terrains
