scott they are a major oem manufactier (spelling??) they make everything right down to the nuts & bolts If you compare there models to the comp. they are alot better also A.Cat is having them build there 300cc and under for them along as kawie is to thats saying something for them.

They are a 40+ year old co. which honda uses them for years you will be hearing more from them as the years go on check out the all new MXU 500 at www.kymcousa.com or just do a search.

Default Question about Kymco ATV

I agree, had I known of them I would have bought there 90 4 stroke. I would love to ride one. You will be hearing more of them soon. I saw an ATV show on cable and they were testing a 250cc. Let us know if you buy one. The suggested retail for the 500 is $5999.99 not sure what the dealers are selling them for though.

Default Question about Kymco ATV

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of getting another ATV for my son around a 200cc. I am not going to purchase anything until spring, but saw them in a magazine and they looked sharp. He has a 50cc now, but already seems to be out growing it.

Default Question about Kymco ATV

I bought a DS 250 which is really a rebadged Kymco. I took it out for a pretty good ride, and was impressed with the quality. Could use a little more power, but they do have a 300 now. Starts right up. Could use a better set of shocks, but overall a good quad.

Only drawback, for a non-name brand quad, they aren't much cheaper. (at least the 250 model)

I stand corrected superbomb. Funny, I went and looked at the can-am site, and on the 07 models, they say it's a Rotax engine. Checked the wifes 06 last night, sure enough SYM stamped on the engine. But I don't remember the motor on the 07 I looked at being stamped Rotax. Now I'm gonna have to go back and look.
