Default LT80: where does this hose go?

I have a missing hose from the carburator that I don't know where it goes to or if I need it at all. The LT80 seems to run fine without it. Please look at the pic on the attach link and see where hose number 21 goes to.

Carb hose #21

Yep, that's the vent hose.

FYI: what most do not know is::: this is where dirt comes from that pluggs the jets.
I use a uni filter UP-101 to filter the vent line. The filter end is bigger than the vent hose. I wrap a lil duct tape around the line to make it bigger and the filter fits on.
No mo plugged jets.

No jetting change will be needed. It effects nothing but the crud wanting in.
