Help !?!

I've got a 99 LT80 with the rear case cracked... the rear seems like it's not even attached anymore. Someone quoted me about $300 for the new piece. Anyone know what kind of job this is and how long it might take ? It seems like the piece that cracked runs all the way to the front of the engine... is this possible ?

The cases alone are approx $225+. then bearings,seals,gaskets.......300 is close.
Labor will prolly be about the same unless you remove/install the motor from the frame.
It's not a job for beginers for sure.

My son is ready for a bigger machine now, anyway.... do you know anyone looking for a '99 with a DG pipe that ran great before the crack ?
