I have an 06 predator 90 I got for my kids so they can tool around with me at the sand dunes. So far it has fit my needs except for one problem that has developed recently. When we ride there is a fair ammount of aprox 45 degree hill climbing. When the quad it put at angles like this it immediatly dies. get it back on flat ground and it fires right back up and runs fine, also it has began running to lean and will only stay on when it is fully choked. Anyone have any ideas?

 

clean the carb blow it all out and make sure the float is working properly, pay attention to main jet, not that theres stuff in it, clean and oil the filter start with this.

 

Yeah it sounds like the float isn't letting ebough fuel into the carb. Also check your mixture screw.
