110 Dacar no spark
#1
Hi all!
Just picked up 110 Dacar, just no spark.
Bike had been mothballed for 6mths and when guy delivered it,he started it,no sweat.
I get home and swing the motor, dead.
There is no spark, the wiring looks good, battery is 100%,fuse is good.
Under the seat I've found a plug with 4 wires, also, two other wires. One blue with white trace, other white with blue trace.I'm not sure if they were joined.Could they be for remote cut-out?Should I leave them open circuit or bridge them?So far,I've left them open-circuit.
The motor looks like those old Honda units, horizontal piston design.CDI ignition.
Should I apply patience or go out and buy a gallon of gas and matches...
It'll be worth the stress relief!
Regards!

Hi!
Got it right.
It was those two white & blue wires under the seat.
I've connected them and she purrs like a cat near the fireplace on a cold winter's night...
Merry X-mas & a prosperous New Year!
Cheers.
Benjamin.
