Great News!

Just got off the phone with Geico.

They will insure every atv that I thru at them. Kasea, JetMoto, Kazuma, RedCat, Chongqing, Hi-bird, SunL.

I asked them if there was a size limit, and she said no. They will insure 50cc to 800+.

The world now knows peace.

Happy Holidays!

That's wierd. I just called Geico as well and they confirmed that they would not insure ATV's under 150cc just like setters said. I don't know what to tell you now setter, Yankee says Geico told him yes, and when I call they say no. I would pursue foremost like bakermon said.

Try Allstate. I have a 90cc TGB. No one could find it in their listings so all they would cover me for would be liabilty, I called an Allstate agent it was no problem to get Full coverage on it.

Thanks all,the gieco thing may be to the fact that were in pa?But both times i called and went thru all the questions and at the end she said there company cant write ins for anything smaller than a 150cc.I do believe i no why. When i bought my son his first kymco 50cc i tried to get ins and no one would touch it .This was because they new a child was going to be using it.This is why i think they say over 150cc.Also another question do you tell your ins company that your child is the rider?I would like to here what most say.On a good note after taking your advice i called foremost and they WILL ins the jetmoto. It is in there Data bank and for full coverage 100,000-300,00 and 250.00 deductable it came to 181.00 a year.I thought thats not bad for full coverage and not just liability.201.00 for my new honda also.looks like i found a carrier after all. Thanks for all your help

To be honest, I don't think they asked me if there was a child riding. But I do know I didn't mention it either. I had such a hard time finding an insurer for our Redcat I wasn't going to chance it by offering more info than they asked for. And I really didn't want to have to tell my son he couldn't ride with me.

there very specific in asking who will ride the quads. The agent asked if i was the primary of the honda and if so who would be the primary on the jetmoto.I do beleve if your children do ride them and something happens you will be covered but im not sure.I think i will call and ask about a rider not listed.

Please let me know what they say. If they choose not to insure the Redcat because my son is only 14, I am not going to be a happy camper.
